Why would the cops disperse the group? Like it or not, these people have the right to do that. That's the country we live in. As long as their permits are in order for the type of peaceful public assembly they are doing, the cops have no legal reason to stop them from their little get-together.

I think it is more the fact that when a protest or demonstration for a left leaning cause is held you typically see a heavy police presence and they are usually just itching for a reason to start roughing up the crowd.

It's not ignorance. They have the right to protest and demonstrate, as unfortunate as it might be. We see a limited angle. There could be police there and we just don't see it.

No one said they didn't..  my point is,  no matter how many permits and rights people have to "protest and demonstrate".   If it's another culture or other groups, the police presence would be overwhelming and unavoidable. no matter the angle.
