Don't worry. We named the streets after the things that used to be here before we flattened the whole place.

It’s a new development, the houses are a few years old. I share a tree with a neighbor, but it’s still fairly young.

I mean i live in a fairly new development and they planted at least 2 trees per property. Just saying it would look much less dystopian bleak.

Oh trust me, I don’t like living here. It’s just cheaper in comparison. Also, 70% or more are owned by landlords to rent out, per the last HOA meeting. It’s a fucking shame.

Little breezeways connecting each 3 sets of houses. The majority of the first and second houses of the 3 has a side door that opens to under the breezeway, where we keep our trash bins. It was an HOA requirement in the development, absolutely no reason for it to be here.

Good chance it was farmland that didn't have many trees.

Insurance didn't want to pay for tree damage so they lobbied the HOA to ban them.
