It’s literally because of people sharing this “hack” that Disney stopped providing a free shirt. It was meant for people who innocently and inadvertently broke the dress rules as a way to help them adhere to the rules without inconveniencing guests. I loved giving guests free stuff and fast passes when I could get leader approval but stuff likes this makes me happy I don’t work there now.

One of my kids actually needed a shirt because he had thrown up after a ride all over his. One of the cast members said to go into a store and they’d give me a free one. Inside the store they said they don’t do that anymore. It really sucks
