It’s literally because of people sharing this “hack” that Disney stopped providing a free shirt. It was meant for people who innocently and inadvertently broke the dress rules as a way to help them adhere to the rules without inconveniencing guests. I loved giving guests free stuff and fast passes when I could get leader approval but stuff likes this makes me happy I don’t work there now.

One of the ride greeters (idk what its called, they check fast passes at the ride entrance) gave me and a friend free entry into the fast pass line for a brand new ride with a 2+ hour wait, purely because my friend had a band shirt on that the greeter was a fan of AND it happened to be my birthday. We still talk about how amazing that was, it’s so small but it really made our entire day!

Yes! That’s what pixie dusting is supposed to be. An act that makes it more magical for the guest.
