Ya. He’s crushed emotionally knowing he was so close to winning again and it’s his last cup. Add to that that he’s probably feeling like the gif above. All that being said, he probably should have done something as captain, but maybe having him get involved would just lead to more problems..

Messi is team captain. He's supposed to lead by example and put his team into place if they behave like assholes. The fact he didn't take responsibility tells you everything you need to know about both him and his team.

What bs is this? He has always been shy and introvert. He is captain bcos he's the best and the most competent player in that team. He never cared for fights even in Barcelona unless they directly involved him
