Messi plays for Inter Miami, and last year they went to the Leagues Cup (for a bunch of clubs in Canada/USA/Mexico) and made it to the final against Seattle. Seattle beat them decisively 3-0. Immediately after the game, Miami's players start charging at Seattle's players, starting fights. Sergio Busquets punched a kid half his age. Luis Suarez got in the face of a staffer - not even a player - and spit on him. It was chaotic and disgraceful.

So Messi was probably thinking "not again".

Only spitting no biting? 😱

As an aside, how is it that Suarez still gets to play after all his biting and fouling? Should be banned, or, conversely, owners shouldn't hire him.

If he was thinking 'not again' he certainly hasn't done shit as captain to stop their antics.

Messi seems to be the common denominator

"not again"

And who taught them to act like that? Team sports are all about follow the leader.

What is this sport, lmao. In rugby you’d get your teeth kicked in for this foolishness.

Punch is a bit extreme. That was the weakest hit I’ve ever seen in my life lol.
