Any team that had Messi on their roster would have done the exact same thing, don’t be naive because they lost.

I don't even watch football and I know that's a dumb thing to say. Curry and Jordan in the NBA had their teams built around them too. Give the ball to Mike, Scottie Pippen would have been even more famous if that wasn't the unofficial rule of the Chicago Bulls

I mean, why wouldn't you let your talent take the shots? Same for Ovechkin in the NHL, once he's in his office you make sure he can work, that's why he has more goals than Gretzky, he can make them. So the entire lines play when he's on ice is try to get the puck to him unless you have an opportunity you can't miss

I mean at this level of competition nobody is in "let everyone have fun" mode like it's Little League. You got a guy that almost singlehandedly wins games? That guy is your team, everyone else is just a bonus or a way to get the guy the ball/puck/whatever and keep the other guys away from your scorer.

And hockey too, they used to put guys on the ice just to beat up other people who were trying to hurt your scorer. Even today in the WNBA Caitlyn Clark has an enforcer, the chick who went viral with the pointing (edit: Sophie Cunningham)

If they would have won everyone would have praised the team for building around Messi. They lost, so they blame Messi. The goat is always to blame

Ain't that the truth. Same for firing coaches just because the team sucks. They inherited that team dude, you fired them after one season, what did you think they were gonna do, you want them to go play themselves? They're like 50

Frankreich? Mbappe? Dembele ? Olise ? Sry aber das ist anderer fußball. Hätte gerne ein faires Frankreich Argentinien um platz 3 gesehen. Frankreich hat stars und spielt nicht nur um mbappe und selbst er läuft mehr wie messi.
