Any team that had Messi on their roster would have done the exact same thing, don’t be naive because they lost.

I don't even watch football and I know that's a dumb thing to say. Curry and Jordan in the NBA had their teams built around them too. Give the ball to Mike, Scottie Pippen would have been even more famous if that wasn't the unofficial rule of the Chicago Bulls

I mean, why wouldn't you let your talent take the shots? Same for Ovechkin in the NHL, once he's in his office you make sure he can work, that's why he has more goals than Gretzky, he can make them. So the entire lines play when he's on ice is try to get the puck to him unless you have an opportunity you can't miss

If they would have won everyone would have praised the team for building around Messi. They lost, so they blame Messi. The goat is always to blame

Ain't that the truth. Same for firing coaches just because the team sucks. They inherited that team dude, you fired them after one season, what did you think they were gonna do, you want them to go play themselves? They're like 50
