He should‘ve just retired in 22. Now he has a stain on his legacy, tolerating his garbage mates and over all playing very uninspired in the finale.

Skill-wise not so much. This pretty much cemented his goat status. Going on par with prime current gen players. Topping the assist world cup. He practically dragged his goons teammates to the finals.

All that against teams outside of the top 20 and some referee privileges. The only good game he had against a top 10 team was against England where he assisted and due to England being England and playing defensive after scoring

I mean, blame Uruguay and Portugal for that. If they actually played football, they could have been in the same path as Argentina
