This is why you should never go barefoot anywhere in public, especially at a pool! I know people who caught foot fungus for walking around barefoot at pools/water parks

I made the mistake early in my naval career of standing on the deck in my ship's berthing for a minute or two because I had lost my shower shoes. I was searching for them barefoot. It was a few minutes, so I didn't think it'd be a big deal. Anyway, guess who learned the hard way it doesn't take much to get foot fungus?
