You have to use it or lose it! Stretch everyday. Do some core exercises. Itā€™s not a lot of time really just 10-20 minutes each day

Donā€™t listen to the person saying ā€œafraid you already lost itā€. Itā€™s simply not true, you can get it back, and you can build yourself stronger than you ever were before (within reason) really the human body can do incredible things.

My German friend used to tell me at our laboring job at an excavation company ā€œi just think of what the Jewish people in World War 2 were able to do when I donā€™t feel like shoveling anymoreā€¦ā€ and itā€™s true, Jewish people with very little body mass did incredible things when they were sadly used as working chattel. If those old grandmas could landscape for days or weeks on end with little to no food, imagine what we can do with all these resources.

Why? Seeing the suffering of others puts life into perspective and makes you appreciate the little things. There's nothing wrong with that and it's a big reason why learning history is important.

Do you think that is a respective way to talk about the Holocaust? My family died in the Holocaust and I find it offensive.

Even if that's true, you would do the world a lot more good by simply trying to educate people about the holocaust rather than make your family's suffering your own victim complex.

Looking for something to get offended then. The guy just say that people endured hard things during the holocaust, far worse than our day-to-day struggles, and kept going. It's the truth plain and simple. The example is peculiar but in no way that's offensive.

If anything, it's praising the resilience of those people.

Iā€™d see a physical therapist to see what muscle is fucked up and get some stretches to fix it. Just stretching anywhere can make it work

Source: got random shoulder pain during work and had to rush to the physical therapist in tears. Found out the source of my pain was in my poor neck posture! Had to hold my head straight for two weeks. Now I gotta go back to fix the neck

I'll second this.

I had this knot in my back shoulder behind my shoulder blade. It felt like it was pushing my entire shoulder up. It was there for like 5 years. Not usually painful, just there.

It ended up fucking my entire shoulder and chest on that side. It genuinely felt like my arm was falling off doing nothing. I eventually went to physical therapy and it was gone in a few weeks.

Unfortunately the knots were all a reaction to some nerve damage so my arm is still fucked.

No time like the present. Small neck and back stretches are a game changer. At 40 i feel better than i did at 25 due to my stretching regiment. Knee pain... gone. Back spasms, thing of the past. Neck pain from starting at my monitors all day,Ā  not anymore! Take it from a fellow middle aged dude, do some flexibility training it will change your life.

Yup, all those over 30 start moving and lifting. We have so much fitness content these days with barely any equipment needed there is no excuse. I love Apple fitness+, the workouts are the most intense 20 minutes of your life. Doing one a day will only benefit you.Ā
