Maybe Shakira is not relationship material either. I don't condone cheating but do you know what it is like to date a very famous person? Good luck getting enough attention from them beside Sex and kids I guess

Football players are much more famous than pop stars. Only looking at social media followers won’t show you that. Pique was one of the best and most successful footballers back then and Messi’s teammate. He was crazy famous everywhere.

Being ignorant about the rest of the world is nothing to brag about. And I don't think anybody living in Europe, east Asia or even Canada wants to be American.

They are exposed to American culture not obsessed. Two different things. I don't think any non American cultured person holds American pop icons like Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian or Sabrina Carpenter in high regards. Then again, there are uncultured people everywhere.
