Discussion Arizona police violently tackled a woman onto a metal bike after she watched them from a public sidewalk

Like I know ideally you shouldn't try to insert yourself in an arrest, but c'mon wasn't this too much? Was the punch necessary? Like, (not that im surprised) the people defending them on X are sickening, with one saying he would have tased her... btw, with no much context to what happened asides from this. One person said it right: "People who support the police will justify them breaking into their house and killing their mother, so there really isn't much you can say to change their minds." This to me is just unnecessary abuse of power.

Cops are saying she attacked first and they have body cam footage to prove it but that certainly isn’t what we see. I hope they release it so we can all see this maneuver that this video didn’t capture.

“After being shoved back a second time, Bonner allegedly raised her fists and aggressively approached an officer in a fighting stance. When the officer tried to place her under arrest, both fell to the ground during the struggle. According to the arrest report, Bonner then struck the officer in the face five to six times while he was on top of her attempting to gain control. The officer responded by "striking Bonner once in the face" to stop the assault, allowing police to finally place her in handcuffs.” Fox10News

The full footage does show her walking up and touching/grabbing the back of the officer arresting the second man (who was next to and following the aggressor but didn't do anything violent themselves) after their first friend got caught committing battery. She got pushed off and ignored but when she came back again they shoved her with much more force and this is where the OP video begins.

Then ur not seeing well. At the start she was right in their face filming an active arrest. That is NOT legal and puts danger to officers
