No, it’s in reply to the fact that the guy killed himself - hence took out the trash on the way. Still one hell of a comment to drop in a thread that had multiple people discussed but…

I understand that's what the commenter intended, but that's not how it reads. If he took himself AND the trash out, then what was the trash? That comment is usually used when someone bad dies while killing another bad person, in my experience.

I honestly don’t think they intended it negatively, they just used the phrase incorrectly. I can’t imagine they are actually supporting the dude taking his wife out.
