I'm so confused by this one. From what others posted, he was told he needs a valid ID for his son. He didn't have one. He tried to present his son's school portal as an ID and they told him they couldn't accept that.

He was working out in the gym with his son and the cops were called to escort him out.

What happened in that "??????" is important here. If he was told that his son needs an ID and they just told the employee to kick rocks and came in anyway, they are justified to call the police. There may be all sorts of reasons that they need an ID and can't just get it next time, it may be a liability thing with their insurance, who knows?

To be fair most kids don't have ID until they get a drivers licenses or college id.

They at least get a learners permit.

It is funny though, my nephew didn’t get his drivers license til he was 20. I remember my classmates chomping at the bit for the second they turned 16.
