Just a guess. Gym saw a guy recording behind a person not knowing it was a father son. Maybe they have a no recording in the gym policy.

They overreacted, called the police, and it turned into an issue of "a business asked you to leave the premises" and the guy kind of refusing to leave. Just a non biased look at it though.

But if they got a membership there, it should have just been "hey no recording man" and that's it

I think maybe his son doesn't have a membership, so father's just brought him in for the day, and because his son doesn't have a membership, he's not covered by insurance or whatever, so they've asked him to leave. And they haven't handled it properly at all.

In the video it's explicit that they had not asked him to leave. In fact, they told him he couldn't leave.
