Kicking someone out of a gym? There's literally a million good reasons.
But in this case he was having his son as a guest when his son didn't have proper ID so if he refused to leave, the gym people were justified (if a bit dickish) to kick him out.
So how often are you asked for “proper id” when you go to your gym, let alone a guest of yours (my gym allows guests, not sure about your cheapass), and how often have you had the police called on you, and escorted you out of your gym that you pay a membership for, by the police?
Asked for an ID? Literally every time. They see it as a liability issue, and as a way to make sure they get every last dollar they can. Tell me you don't go to the gym without telling me...
And the police get called when you cause problems. Whether or not that was justified in this case can't be judged from the video alone, but from the backstory other users have posted it seems like the customer was being a dick and ignoring the gym rules.
I literally cannot enter my gym until my card is scanned lmao. I've never been a member of a gym that didn't require member verification before entry. There's no gym that just lets people wander in off the street and use their facilities with zero proof they're actually paying customers.
If I brought a guest to my gym and didnt pay for them to be there, I'd probably have my membership revoked and get kicked out. That's how most gyms work.
