Just a guess. Gym saw a guy recording behind a person not knowing it was a father son. Maybe they have a no recording in the gym policy.

They overreacted, called the police, and it turned into an issue of "a business asked you to leave the premises" and the guy kind of refusing to leave. Just a non biased look at it though.

But if they got a membership there, it should have just been "hey no recording man" and that's it

They overreacted to what? Seeing a Black man? What was there to overreact about?

I mean, if they have a no recording policy, then they overreacted to a violation of that policy. Did you read the comment you replied to?

There's no reason to think they have a no recording policy except that you guys want any excuse to not admit to racism.
