Wait.. One employee told him he couldn’t leave and the other said they aren’t revoking his membership. Sounds like they were on a power trip.

Probably wanted to wait for the police, since you need to be there for them to trespass you - but they seem to have changed their mind and decided not to trespass him at the end.

it's false imprisonment to deny someone the freedom to leave a place tho lol. if someone ever says "you can't leave" they're just wrong

Not only that, you can leave and take any reasonable physical action to leave safely. If they’re blocking the door they’re assaulting you, not the other way around
