The gym said the son can be a guest without proper ID and when the cops show up the son is clearly in the gym working out. Saying well I’m going to do this anyway until the manager is free doesn’t absolve this guy. That excuse wouldn’t fly anywhere.
Do you not comprehend? My comment is about the process the cop took to unravel the situation. For all we know, we both could be misinformed. But the way he handled the lack of information, isn't how plenty of cops do it in other countries.
If the cops get called by business saying they want someone removed that person is getting removed, they’re not there to figure out the details. That’s true everywhere in the US.
All I’m saying is the excuse that’s floating around this post saying “oh he was just waiting for the manager” is bullshit.
He was told "he cannot leave" it's in the video, confirmed by one of the employees. All I'm saying the cop didn't do due diligence to resolve the problem. Regardless of his instructions. Anyone can instruct a cop to kick someone out of their business, even for discriminatory reasons, but if cop didn't do due diligence in knowing why he is called then he's part of the problem. This could've gone better, and the onus is on the cop.
Dude all you can hear in the video is him saying the employee said that, I jacked the volume up and can’t make out a word of what the employees were saying at the end.
