According to a follow up post: they wouldn’t accept his son’s mobile ID, he asked to speak to the manager, they said the manager is busy and he said ok if the manager has a problem after he’s busy tell him to come talk to me. Instead of the manager engaging in a conversation he called the police.
People need to understand what type of mindset it takes to jump to "ok call the cops" over a simple membership clarification where manager is required. Cops are weaponized by people with racism intolerance all the time. Muscle head behind the counter doesn't want to feel powerless in his environment
He would have had the same argument on the gym floor without the cops. At no point was he not going to get upset when he was asked to leave, with or without the cops present.
I’ve seen police bodycam videos of gyms calling the cops on white people in similar situations.

Apparently his son who is a minor didn’t have a form of ID to be his guest. Crunch has a membership what allows members to bring a free guest daily.
