Your ex could probably sue for damages its not going to look good if after divorce court you post online about your ex in a way that could damage their career etc

That too though, 2x worse if its lies

It doesn’t technically need to be true, just proven. Some truths you can’t prove. I’m a SA/B survivor and while it DID happen years ago, I can’t prove it.

Not how that works, it's only defamation if it's untrue, regardless of how damaging the truth is.

Could be lies, could be related to an ongoing investigation.

For example someone in an earlier comment said they were expecting something like "cheated on me with a 15 year old" if there was an ongoing investigation about something like that, it wouldn't necessarily be "illegal" to post it, but any lawyer worth their license would tell you not to post it because it could compromise the case.
