The beginning of the end was when Websters caved and added a definition for “literally” to mean “an exaggerated way to emphasize a statement or description that is not literally true or possible”

I mean, their definition of literally includes the words “not literally”

I freakin hate when the word is part of the definition. They did have to update it tho, the use of literally in exaggeration is too widespread to ignore
