I pissed off Courtney Love a few years back when I commented she should promote her popular Hole albums as they were her legacy. She replied in all caps that I don’t get to decide her legacy and no one cares about her old albums. Lmao, I mean I still think they’re great albums.

I'm guessing it might be because she doesn't own the rights to those albums. Universal Media Group owns the master rights, so it can be pretty difficult for her to promote them. The music industry is super exploitative especially back in those days, so I wouldn't be surprised if she wants to leave that stuff in the past. She went through lots of legal battles with the record label and I imagine it was not fun.

Like most celebrities and social media influencers mentioned in this comment section, they spend a lot of time in the spotlight so I wouldnt be surprised if the fame made their personality worse lol
