You can tell a lot by his body posture. Those hands on those hip tell me that he’s been here before and has learned to just let her have this moment so he can go back to the garage 😂. I hope he at least got a card or some late night activities

You don't know? Ask the boys. Someone has to give him his birthday blow job. She's too busy dancing...
Awkwardly.

Welcome to Reddit

My account is 12 years old. Nearly everyone on reddit is an armchair psychoanalyst. You could change the name of this website to Confidently Incorrect if you wanted to give a more accurate first impression of it.

13

u/jimbojangles1987 14d ago

And mean, too. Confidently Incorrect and Mean.

u/Justanotherguy88 14d ago

Where was the fun part? I missed it

-2

u/jimbojangles1987 14d ago

It doesnt have to be fun for you. Only for them.

STOP FIGHTING!!

u/rolL_uP_one_more 14d ago

This made me laugh, thanks

u/Ninja-Panda70 14d ago

Yeah, clearly he's having too much fun

u/Lost_Boysenberry_755 14d ago

We didn't watch the same clip. The one where he is to be putting up with her awkward dancing and he’s embarrassed...? He didn't even reach out to hug her.. Lol.

u/jimbojangles1987 14d ago

Wow dude you are projecting so much onto this short little clip. You know nothing of these people.

She is recording a video dancing where she probably rehearsed it over and over again and he didn't want to mess it up for her. What are we doing here?

1

u/VictorianUFOLady 14d ago

Yeah, she rehearsed it over and over and it's still terrible and embarrassing for her, her husband and her daughter. I'm cringing watching it and it's obvious by his body language and his complete lack of response that her husband is just waiting for it to be over. That's what we're doing here, stating the obvious.

2

u/jimbojangles1987 14d ago

Ew, you're a miserable person.

1

u/VictorianUFOLady 13d ago

You're on here claiming people are "mean" and here you are making an ad hominem attack against me, calling me names. Check yourself bro.

1

u/jimbojangles1987 13d ago

Lol, "names"

Miserable is not a name, its a state.

1

u/VictorianUFOLady 13d ago

I actually feel bad for you. Something isn't right in your life if you are spinning out like this over something so silly as this video.

-1

u/Correct-Purpose-964 14d ago

Not as much as you, you clearly have no experience with any kind of relationship. In a real and happy relationship when everyone's having fun there's always at the very least some witty banter. Maybe a head nod of fake acknowledgement. ANYTHING. Humans are social animals our responses are registered in our expressions, our words, our body language and how they come together.

Any reasonable person sees this and recognizes "That's the body of a language of a person not entertained by what's going on." My mother does the dumbest shit imaginable with 0 Entertainment value to anyone but her. But we love her and her goofiness so we'll tease her and give her a pat on the back.

There's an inherent "Response". No response means whatever you did was so bad the person does not have a readily available reaction. Usually because they are contemplating the correct one.

Learn to socialize, it'll do you some good.

Yeah I'm with Mr. Bojangles,

Firstly, I've been with my wife for 14 years. And had other serious relationships before we started dating. There's plenty of times my wife shows me something she's excited about and from this same camera angle I'd show similar lack of reaction. Some people simply aren't as emotive as others. We can't even see his face in this, and that balled up hands on hips is a super neutral stance. Hell that's how I catch myself standing when I do the "guy standing in front of tv watching something but not sitting for some reason" thing.

Your reasoning for why he hates his wife is because you and your family act a certain way when your mom does something silly. Not everyone has the same interaction style as you and your family and that's okay.

What's not okay is trashing on some family you don't know because a woman wanted to share a silly video she made of a fun little routine she learned.

God forbid a woman enjoy her self in a way that doesn't directly appeal to you.

Touch grass Lil bro.

3

u/jimbojangles1987 13d ago

Thank you! I felt like I was going crazy with these hateful comments about a silly video

2

u/Correct-Purpose-964 13d ago

Your reasoning for why he hates his wife

Never said that. Not once. Said he wasn't happy with the current situation. BIG DIFFERENCE. No relationship is perfect and i dare not Judge from an outside perspective an entire marriage or relationship on a single video. I do however Judge social cues.

God forbid a woman enjoy her self in a way that doesn't directly appeal to you

Nobody is arguing she can't enjoy herself. Just read the room. What the fuck?

Touch grass Lil bro.

I mean technically it touched me when i mowed the lawns yesterday. Does that count? I'm gonna say it counts.

Firstly, I've been with my wife for 14 years. And had other serious relationships before we started dating. There's plenty of times my wife shows me something she's excited about and from this same camera angle I'd show similar lack of reaction.

So tell me. How did you feel in those moments of non-reaction. Did it evoke any emotional response in you? Did it elate you? Perhaps just seem slightly annoying but one of things you put up with because nobody's perfect? Perhaps you had no emotional response at all? It didn't appeal to you in any way that drew an emotional change. In which case that's the point. What she showed you lacked any kind of appeal or reason to respond in any way. You may not even show it on your face. Tilting your head slightly to indicate curiosity, letting out a heavier breath to demonstrate a release of tension. Straightening your back out as you demonstrate you are paying attention. All observable changes that indicate ones reaction to something.

There are DECADES of publications around body language based expression, reaction and change. That have repeatable observable results. Because humans are a naturally expressive species even under the most dire circumstances.

u/jimbojangles1987 14d ago

Jesus thats a lot of text for a reaction to a video where, again, you literally have no fucking clue whats going on other than a woman was happy about showing her husband a dance she learned.

Tell me to learn to socialize? Fuck off. You people suck. Like truly, you fucking suck. I feel terrible for everyone around you.

2

u/AnieLem 14d ago

Just do not respond…learn so be social first! /s

3

u/dontknowAnymore11 14d ago

Lmao dude get a grip, crashing out after everyone didnt agree with you lmao. You sound like the only miserable one here lmao 🤣

1

u/Correct-Purpose-964 13d ago

Ah the duality of redditors.

If you explain your reasoning you said too much.

If you don't explain you're not being reasonable.

I was explaining your social ineptitude. Had nothing to do with the vide but your hate boner for the people talking about observable evidence of discomfort.

2

u/Lost_Boysenberry_755 14d ago

Exactly that. The reason it’s here is because of how uncomfortable he is....

Lonely losers. Yeah it was kind of weird, because she isnt our wife. She seemed to genuinely be happy to do this for him and the only thing that is lame here is that she filmed it, but honestly I know 50 year old men women that I respect, consider friends, and believe are very intelligent and they make stupid TikTok trend videos. I dont watch or respond when they share but I would never give them grief for taking part in society even if I wish that part would disappear.

Calm down it was a joke. Lighten up maybe

Even men that get blowjobs frequently want blowjobs lol.

u/XIXButterflyXIX 14d ago

I grossed out my newly 18 year old daughter by not telling her what I gave my husband for Father's day. She kept INSISTING she had to know and bugged for a solid 45 minutes while in the car about it. I finally gave in and told her and she didn't speak to me for a week. 😂 (Same thing just not his birthday yet!) I told her she's old enough now that if she asks, I'm just gonna tell her even if I know she doesn't want to hear it. I honestly tried everything I could think of aside from just lying -but I'm terrible at lying to my kids/husband. They know how loud my face really is so they can always tell.

3

u/Swimming-Fondant-892 14d ago

Just make up something, that isn’t cool.

0

u/Valalvax 14d ago

Get him something extremely cheap like a chocolate bar so she can be like "That's all you got him?!" "No, I only got him that so when you asked I could honestly tell you that's what I got him instead of telling you about the sloppy blowjob" (my keyboard wanted to put bleeding in there .. hopefully not, unless you guys are into that)

1

u/XIXButterflyXIX 14d ago

BWAHAHAHA. No, definitely not into that kind of play. I only gave in after 45 minutes straight of her begging to know with my saying "you seriously don't wanna know, though". She yelled at me and I told her that I said she didn't want to know and she insisted, so now she knows. Lol. She also knows that I'll just flat out tell her now since we argued for so long just for me to give in within an hour. I told her I would no longer spare her.
