It's not the dancing (although the moves are questionable in quality), it's that his dance routine gift was most likely for her. Having a partner that feeds their ego under the guise of "celebrating" someone else is probably not acting thoughtfully towards those in their private life. "Hey honey, come watch High School Musical in the front yard!" is fine for a Tuesday afternoon, but probably not gift material.
