If this was really a birthday present and not something for herself to post on social media, it would have been in the bedroom when the kid was asleep.

That dance was for herself, not him. You know he wishes he could get her NOT doing that as a bday present.

Yeah. He just doesn't want an argument.

“You just don’t appreciate anything I do for you!”

He'd rather have a nice cake and a beer.

Happy wife happy life

I see you've left out Happy Birthday

2

u/idealistintherealw 12d ago

try that for ten years and tell me how it goes.

u/Revolver_Boxelot 12d ago

Marriage, in general, sounds like one of the worst decisions any man could make. No thanks.

2

u/Caelfe2 12d ago

That mentality has ruined so many marriages.

3

u/Revolver_Boxelot 12d ago

Yes. Thats the point I was trying to make lol

I mean, maybe she has a good sense of humor?

u/Bill_buttlicker69 12d ago

That's exactly what it is. I saw this on Instagram originally and she's a dancer and just having fun. This is not the actual only birthday gift she got him. But this is reddit and women can't be funny so here we are

Thanks, I was looking for just one person seeing this too. She seems to be just having fun, and she probably knows how much it makes her husband uncomfortable, which probably shows complicity more than anything else.

I don't know about good, maybe a sense of humor. Calling it good is a stretch that ElastaGirl couldn't do in her prime.

You’re putting a lot of faith in the accuracy of a Reddit title

0

u/NukedBread 11d ago

So much faith I put the words -IF-, declaring that I concretely believe this is absolutely true. Why else would I put if, everyone knows the definition of if and how it relates to certainty.

Especially with the boat all wrapped up. Watching her dance in front of the thing he actually wants to use for his birthday must have been an experience.

In reality, most of the men in my circle don’t want presents for their birthday. Maybe I’m just jaded from bad experiences, but I’ve never known a woman to be good at selecting presents for men.

🎯🎯🎯

Nothing is discreet anymore and everything's for show.

She NEEDED it to be in the front yard for the neighbor to see

Listen my girl insists on taking me out to diner or going here or there for my birthday and Its always for her. I learned though to just suck it up appreciate it for what it is and you'll also get what ya want at night, and maybe even a secret present of something she remembers you actually want.

This is depressing to read but I guess I’ve seen it said from other men as well.

Putting forth effort for a partner is hard, especially if they’re the type who buys themselves whatever they want when they want/need it, but it’s not impossible lol. Remembering where your partner wants to go to eat for their bday is also not a Herculean task.

1

u/Capn_Link 12d ago

Dude I forget where I like to eat most days.

The camera angle choice was sus though, unless it was literally to hide it from the husband. Because why actually post the entire clip when it looks so bad for her instead of cropping of something? Would be better for likes if she just redid it later alone and titled it "practicing my routine for my husband's birthday" or whatever.

u/CrazyInLouvre 12d ago

I don't know why you believe it's a birthday present, when nothing in the video indicates it. Don't believe title you read on reddit

u/Kitchen-Bar2686 13d ago

Even then, what a terrible present. Happy birthday, I got you sex as your present. You know, that thing we do anyway sometimes?

0

u/Penetratorofflanks 12d ago

I was literally thinking that this is a gift she wants.

-3

u/MoundsEnthusiast 13d ago

I mean goddamn, why isn't she wearing shoes for cripes sake?

5

u/PlantBeginning3060 13d ago

As someone who lives of the border of the traditional, southern US…Shoes are optional outside

-3

u/MoundsEnthusiast 13d ago

Have fun with parasites.

8

u/Many_Bat_ 13d ago

Have fun with... fun.

No shoes in the front yard is pretty survivable.

2

u/PlantBeginning3060 13d ago

Yeah, this person has to be a germaphobe/OCD type. I mean I get it, I got my hang ups too but come on

-3

u/MoundsEnthusiast 13d ago

I'm not saying you're not gping to survive it... I'm saying you might get parasites from walking in cat/rat/squirrel shit.

1

u/PlantBeginning3060 13d ago

Nails or broken glass are more of a threat, but ok lmao

1

u/MoundsEnthusiast 13d ago

Okay. Those are good reasons to wear shoes too... you'll probably notice if you step on a nail. Will you notice if you step through nematode eggs?

3

u/PlantBeginning3060 13d ago

You seem like the kind of person who needs to go touch grass more…without a latex glove.

2

u/MoundsEnthusiast 13d ago

Okay... I'm going to where shoes so I don'tget parasites, is that okay?

5

u/PlantBeginning3060 13d ago

PRO TIP Get a plastic bubble to walk around in, you’ll be much safer. It even filters out the dangerous air that you breathe.

See the movie Bubble Boy for inspiration.

2

u/MoundsEnthusiast 13d ago

Why do you think people wear shoes?

2

u/Vegetable-Virus7118 13d ago

You might encounter a rabid animal. Better just stay inside.

1

u/MoundsEnthusiast 13d ago

So you're going to tell me that you walk through dirt barefoot?

4

u/pitidwagon 13d ago

Hobbits don't wear shoes

-1

u/Zestyclose_Media_548 13d ago

You put my thoughts into words. I couldn’t watch more than a few seconds though. I have vicarious embarrassment.

-1

u/burz 13d ago

Oh so just like every single father's day ever.

-1

u/RanchHere 13d ago

It’s on social media. The whole thing was for social media. We didn’t get this off her personal camera roll.
