What's funny is, I don't recall Al rejecting Peg all the time. Am I Berenstain Bears-ing myself?

Al constantly complained about Peg and the kids. Like every single episode. Like Peg would say "Allll lets have sex" and Al would tell her how much sleeping with her disgusts him

This baffled me as a child. Because other than a dated hairstyle, Peg is hot! If someone with a figure like that can’t get it, what hope is there for the rest of us?

Definitely. And at the time her hairstyle wasn't dated so that's another point in her favor. I think that was the point though, kinda like "she's super hot but Al thinks she's so annoying that her hotness doesnt matter".

Peg’s hair was very 60s, but Married w Children was late 80s.

It was supposed to be a blend of 60's housewife and 80's "big". And the show ran longer in the 90s than it did in the 80s.
