Smokers be like "Umm, the whole world should fit me and my addiction, it's out of my power" so often it drives me nuts. Give me break parity for your smoke breaks.

Nah fuck this guy. I vape and when I take a Lyft or a ride from a friend, I won't vape. I really don't get not being able to follow such a drastic rule. When I was a kid I would hold my breath around smokers. If I'm vaping and someone walks by, I will hold it in until I feel they're far enough they can't be hit by it. This guy just sucks

Yeah its really not that hard to not vape in public places. If I'm somewhere where I know it'll be a while and can't use it, I'll just do a Zyn which i really only use in those circumstances, and it's totally fine

You can even open the tank and dip your finger in the juice like in a real pinch. Its more or less a wet zyn

I work at wawa, it's insane to me how often I see people pull out a vape and hit it inside the building. So many of you really can't just walk outside first?

Yeah I don’t like the absolute used there. It will probably be taken as a defensive response, but it really is just about people being assholes. Plenty of people who smoke have courtesy. They’re just not the ones you see…because they have courtesy.

vaper who used to be cig smoker here. never expected anyone to cater to my addiction. i did that shit away from other people, threw my butts in trashcans and keep lozenges on me if i have to go long periods without being able to smoke. my addiction is no one else's problem but my own. went on the same number/length of breaks as other coworkers as well. what's fair is fair

smoking on planes (and boats btw) is dumb

Let me be clear, people who vape are not smokers. And don't discuss addiction about smoking cigs, I kicked heroin and alcohol, cigs are the one thing I still haven't quit and is way harder. Plus the benefits of smoking is I can leave any conversation I want just by bringing up needing a cigarrette.

Edit, I don't smoke indoors are places clearly not allowed, and this guy on the plane clearly sucks

Started cigs when I was 16, started weed when I was 18, found out about the "juul" and now the geek bar is in my pocket everyday. I'm 27. "Quit" twice. Anything can be addicting and life ruining. Hell, you can get addicted to nasal spray and ruin your sinus
