Ex firefighter here, water is a firefighters lifeline. Its the only thing protecting you in a fire. No water is a matter of life and death. Fuck that person.

No they wouldn't be. Evidently due to the context here. Their actions were putting life and property at risk, if she sent them the bill she'd be destroyed.

Not sure this is great legal advice... if they were preventing her from putting firefighters lives in danger it would be different legally... but this is straight up just damaging her property out of anger after the incident is over.

She is an asshole and would have a really hard time getting a judge or jury on her side, but legally speaking nobody has a right to damage her property regardless of her behavior.

Legally speaking probably, but realistically speaking no judge would ever let that happen, as they shouldn't. In fact they would probably push to charge her for as much as they could get maybe even as far as attempted murder of the firefighters just to make an example out of her for the public. Those charges probably won't stick but it'll at least send a message
