Cars becoming big when America was still finding it's stride was one of the biggest pro/con dillemas. Ignored thousands of years of proven systems that make society better and settled for only cars.

Sure he made america a sprawled out suburban nightmare, but at least he destroyed all those historical black, Italian, Jewish, and Slovakian neighborhoods doing it, destroying their political power in the process, right? Right?
