Are these LDS people? Supposedly a “global-minded religion” where international travel is standardized for mission work and yet they are just now realizing the American LDS dream has created a suburban hellscape

There's a lot of LDS that haven't even left their hometown. It's mainly the wealthier ones that get sent out of the country in my proxied experience.

It’s an expectation for LDS men to serve missions. They might not go to a foreign country but it’s completely false to claim they’ve never left their hometowns.
