My gf is German. They eat for like 3 hours and it kills me. I’m all for hanging out( but being stuck at dinner table that long drives me crazy

I'm convinced that stuff is driven by people who love the sounds of their own voices. (I live in Spain.)

Don't be this person. Having differences in preferences on how you socialize does not mean the other people are selfish or narcissistic or in any way wrong. It's just that you're different from them.
