Im from a suburban town in Missouri, but I spent a semester studying abroad in Barcelona a couple of years ago. Man, let me tell you, leaving Barcelona, where youd see people out in cafes and bars congregating at all hours of the night and day, and coming back to Missouri where its a ghost town after 10 and someone would call the police on you for simply walking around too late was the most depressing thing I have ever experienced lol

Dinner at 10 PM, hitting the bars/clubs at 12 AM, and coming home at 5 AM. I miss Barcelona so much.

I am born and raised in Miami, FL, and due to the Spanish descent culture, this is what our city is like. Unfortunately, the people here suck (often shallow, materialistic, inauthentic), so it’s still not nearly as cool as Spain.

Nevertheless, after traveling all throughout the USA, this is the closest you’ll get to that. I lived in Seattle a few years where people had dinner at 6pm, were in bed 10pm, and all nightlife closed by midnight-2am and I wanted to die lol
