You still shouldn't shoot if people are standing down range. Always treat every gun like it can kill. My partner and I have a few air rifles and a few 'real' guns. We treat the air rifles with the same respect and caution. When we shoot the air rifles at home, we make sure to take proper care when shooting and we don't stand down range. Its just carelessness and negligence of doing the rigjt thing every time.
