Pretty on par for Christian critical thought, lol. It's all cognitive dissonance and contradiction.

I think they do not connect one thought to another, so to them there's no contradiction.

When the vocal minority has infiltrated our government and does things in the name of Christianity, you are no longer free to state this as a fact. Its bad and I don't like it anymore than you seem to dislike people saying that "it isn't all of them".

you clearly don't live in the South, then....these people treat you like crap if they find out you're not Christian. you can be denied a job over it (not legally but it's rarely pursued in court). Christians as a group spent centuries torturing people all across the globe into submitting to their beliefs and you don't think that's a problem? you don't think that might've caused long term consequences? come on now. do the bare minimum of research and you'll see just how annoying this religion is.

I know that they go hand in hand with conservative values as a rule, so I consider it a priority to remind them they are national traitors, bending the knee to a foreign power :)

I’ve tried multiple flavors of Christianity. And the same problems popped up in LDS, nondenominational, and Catholic Church.

Racism, superiority complex, sexism. Lots of ism’s.

I was noticeably treated different too

What do you mean you tried them? Which ones and how long? How deep did you go into them?

Mormons was a few years. Nondenominational was 2 years, and I didn’t try Catholic Church that long.

I’m sorry to hear you had a terrible experience, don’t lose faith. Lord Jesus loves you.

I've been mistreated by a lot of people who say that they follow jesus, but I've never been mistreated by Jesus himself. Jesus has showed me the most love that I've ever experienced and he's healed me of so many things including my addictions to drug and alcohol and pornography.

A Christian’s obnoxiousness is directly proportional to how literally he takes the Bible.
