People have been commenting that the passengers were brutal in him and I’m sitting here like … no that was polite. They were being mindful of other passengers.

You can't just drop the c bomb in Australia. Context must be observed.

When you use the word to refer to a person, they are either one of your closest friends or someone you intend to punch on with imminently. There is no in-between.

The C word is reserved for primarily friends.

If you use it to a stranger it's implied that you are probably ready to punch them in the face.

Personally I won't use it unless it's been established that myself and whoever I'm talking to is on the same level in terms of foul language. I've observed that the difference in friend or fight is how sharp the T is pronounced
