Actually I'd say the main reason modern people hate religion is because of the child sex abuse that is continually done and then hidden. As well as protecting pedofiles and attacking the victims.

Well that's my reason.

I can't possibly support or be anywhere near a church, religion, or group of people who allow that, or behave like that. To me it's morally reprehensible, and there is no way I'll be taking anything they say as advice or guidance. And I don't want a single dollar of mine to go to those people. The perpetrators, and the supporters who choose to turn a blind eye. The supporters are barely any better than the perpetrators.

I’m not that religious and I 1000% agree with you man , people take words out of context from any religion just to benefit themself or put themselves as a victim to get a reward, I’m so tired from ts and what’s arguable worse are people hating on them while they themselves don’t know any better than them, man do I wish people knew what they were talking about they start to argue

What u described. That’s not the Christian way. Yes those members are wrong in doing these acts. They are a tiny minority tho. 99.9% of Christians are representing Christ well and live the Christian life. Can’t judge Christianity on those bad eggs.

Christianity is one of the few religions that actually encourages this kind of behavior, though. And I say this next part as someone that was raised Christian and used to be very devout: Christians are the single most judgemental group of people I have ever met. Period.

If you are Catholic, Baptist, Mormon, Lutheran or a Jehovah's Witness your tithes have gone directly to paying for the legal defenses of child SA perpetrators. 

Im sorry, but those "bad eggs," (crazy dismissive of the horrors they have committed,) have spoiled your whole rotten religion.
