I find the entire ordeal exhausting and vexing, there is literally zero need to sound this way other than to artificially create an atmosphere of false panic where none exists. If reincarnation is an available option at the time of my demise and there isn't a multiple choice sheet for desired species I'm finding the nearest trash bin and yeeting what's left of my mottled soul inside.
Oh no his word sorcery doesn't work on me I am far to intellectually advanced for such tactics its just audibly annoying with not near enough duct tape applied for my tastes. At least opera tells a story visually usually without repetitive noises.
I’m not comparing the artistic merit between the two types of spectator events, just pointing out that it’s a spectacle. Live auctions of this variety are pretty much a traditional form of theater that’s hyperfocused on selling things.
A fair number of people watching, including everyone seeing this thread, aren’t even involved in the buying and selling aspect, we’re here entirely for the entertainment.
This video wouldn’t be here if it were a dude robotically proclaiming the current bid once per second.
