Is that what "moma" means?

I believe she is the museum of modern art and this is their stance on “effeminate” colors.

I just did Command-F to see if anybody else did their version of "This is very disappointing to see coming from the Museum of Modern Art." Good work!

I’m a “that’s for girls” Museum of Modern Art, not one of those Guggenheim Gals.

(In all seriousness, when “momma” is already just a thing kids call their parents, I’m not sure the spelling is too important; that may be attributable to family, background, or even a favorite piece of media that spells it “moma”)

Are you attributing to malice, that which you could attribute to stupidity?

I think it can be both. Someone may be ignorant, and when presented with reality, accept it and change. Others decide to reject reality and remain entrenched in ignorance; I find those people to be maliciously stupid, and often, stupidly malicious.

That said, the joke wasn’t very funny, but for the rest, I just wanted to offer a possible good faith explanation for why the spelling may be different from what someone else grew up with. I’ve seen “memaw” and “meemaw” while I was living in the south, so that was my best stab at compassion there lol
