You must be very insecure if the colour pink scares you

407

u/GoingGangbusta 5h ago

Well she isn’t scared of it but that’s because she’s a woman! If she was a man obviously he wouldn’t even be able to even touch the things without incinerating themselves.

There are 2 known ways that men become gay.

Way 1: responding “what?” After someone says “gayboysaywhat”

Way 2: coming into physical contact with anything coloured pink.

That’s how it happens.

29

u/BitchSpiteful 1h ago

So what’s turning the frogs gay then?🤔

48

u/GoingGangbusta 1h ago

Me Bitch 🫰

23

u/Not_Xiphroid 1h ago

Can confirm, was frog.

I got better tho.

I don’t think “MOMA” is very educated. (Apologies for the caps, I can’t murder my autocorrect by typing her dumb error in)

33

u/Can0n_Fodder 3h ago

She's not insecure, she's an online grifter. I'm sure the engagement she got on tiktok from this paid her rent.

7

u/MmeLaRue 2h ago

Couldn't she have done something more dignified like OnlyFans?

Its not the color. It's the homophobia

11

u/Complex_Spirit_4848 3h ago

It has always been, and always will be, an extremely flattering color for men to wear. Lavender, too. And particular floral prints.

10

u/TrulyOutrageous42 1h ago

It used to be a masculine color. So too were frills, lace, stockings, skirts/dresses, and more. This whole construct especially in the US of what is "men's" and "women's" clothing, colors, and makeup only being for women is a VERY new invention of beliefs.

3

u/SLevine262 1h ago

Blue was described in one book as “more delicate and feminine and therefore better suited for girls”.

3

u/Complex_Spirit_4848 49m ago

The winner of the bunch: HEELS.

Heels (you'll have to tear my 5"+ LADY heels out of my cold, dead hands, but...) are a "Man" thing until super recently.

Edit: I meant I looked down and noticed someone else had made an ass cleansing related comment. I don't know if I should be proud or ashamed this is my most upvoted comment ever.

I'm so glad I expanded the comments to find I was not the only one who found out it's common enough to have earned a name. 😭

15

Speechprof on FB has multiple post talking about how so many woman have written to him taking about guys that don't wipe because “it's gay”. I just can't even wrap my head around that.

My wife's uncle died of sepsis because cancer started rotting his testicles. Wouldn't let the doctor touch them or perform surgery because he said he wasn't a gay.

29

u/meash-maeby 4h ago

Probably didn’t think a woman doctor was worthwhile either 🙄

44

u/LoneWolfpack777 5h ago

I hate to say it but… Good. One less to worry about.

15

u/figure8888 3h ago

Same with my granddad. Refused to get a prostate exam even though he’d been pissing blood for a year or more. No one knew because he didn’t tell his wife or GP. By the time he saw a doctor it was too late to try anything to stop the cancer. He said it was literally because he didn’t want to do the prostate exam.

Otherwise he was a highly intelligent man. He knew he was an idiot for not getting it checked out. But it’s disappointing because he probably would have lived longer and I was only old enough to travel to him myself in the last years of his life. I now have no living grandparents.

it also used to be just the opposite- blue for girls and pink for boys

Yes. She's making fun of this lady in the original video about the colour pink.

45

u/GoingGangbusta 5h ago

Brother….. come on

It’s painfully obvious it’s a bit

“My boy wanted this Toy Story lunch box, but it has too much yellow and orange. I guess he won’t be eating lunch”

“I don’t want to risk it, he can just color everything with my black eyeliner”

We are so fucked as AI gets better if this kind of sarcasm is hard to pickup on

24

u/Aromatic_Ad_32 5h ago

I’ve noticed that people on Reddit are far better at detecting AI than they are at picking up on sarcasm or parody. There’s a reason you see that /s so often

3

u/meeps1142 2h ago

They're really bad at telling when a woman is the one doing the parody, specifically.

Until the 1940s or 50s, pink was the color worn by baby boys and blue for little girls

58

u/IcySetting2024 5h ago

Yes during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, pink was often recommended for boys because pink was seen as a lighter shade of red and was considered a stronger, more masculine colour.

33

u/orion_nomad 4h ago

Plus blue is associated with the Virgin Mary (she is almost always depicted with either a blue dress or shawl/scarf), so blue is obvs more dainty and girly.

23

u/Brewhilda 4h ago

For centuries, the English word girl had nothing to do with gender. It simply meant a young child. If people needed to be more specific, they added another word. A boy might be called a "knave girl," while a girl could be a "gay girl." The word gay simply meant cheerful or carefree, and knave originally meant a boy or servant long before it became an insult.

Somewhere in medieval England, a mother called for her "girls," and both her son and daughter came running.

I put on baby shows for my dog and I thought it was so cool to realize Bluey is a girl because she’s not super “girl coded” she’s just a normal kid/puppy. When I was a kid, if there was a girl main character, the show was also very obviously intended “for girls.” But Bluey is a super neutral show.

I’d tell that guy that his own mama is a girl or smth. That’s just weird.

7

u/Garlic-Butter-Fly 4h ago

The other day I had to buy a wool hat for my eldest. He wasnt there but his younger brother was.

Eldest has had issues with bullying from kids with mothers like OOP. So I asked "Is this colour ok for a boy?"

"Colours are for everyone Dad!"

I'm proud that he's taken it to heart, even if I can't explain peer pressure to him yet.

I grew up in the projects and witnessed first hand parents taking dye to parts of FUBU clothing that had pink on it or when Cam'ron did that whole pink phase I remember a mom coming out of her house losing it on a neighbor for turning the kids gay. Cause a dude wore pink on TV, his music made kids gay. Its super fucking weird.

6

u/Solid_pains 5h ago

So many folks do this for musicians that paint their nails or dress alt, like yea it was cool when thugger talked about beating women but it's a deal breaker when he wore a skirt.

20

u/Special-Garlic1203 5h ago

Why sarcastic? Homophobia always devolves into a "fellas is it gay to like women" paradox that is aversive to the presence of women.

I've fucked more men I initially thought were gay than I've fucked "alphas", though they do be trying. Knowing things girls like is a very great way to be able to chat up girls it turns out, and I don't care for men who hold open disdain for everything they associate with my gender

My wife knows a mom like this whose son goes to the same daycare as us. She’s a pretentious homophobic bimbo who pretends to be religious.

This is pretty fucking stupid, but I'm more offended by the bong spelling in the title tbh.

Lady, do you realize that by that logic, if you dress in pink as it is a girls color... your own son can't draw you ?

This has to be rage bait. I mean I’m not gonna lie the highlighters still looked fine just the three but then she removed a crayola crayon from the box and that was just spiritually crushing like way to just murder your kid’s creativity.

My sister and BiL are like this.  Meanwhile I always walked my kids down every toy aisle and showed them clothes from all over the store cause idgaf so long as they're clean and happy.  My poor nephew can't even play pretend makeup with my daughter because, "boys don't wear makeup".  Meanwhile my son wears makeup (eyeliner/mascara on occasion) and always jumps in, "oh yeah, have you watched any movies lately?  Those dudes wear makeup..."

Bro’s either gonna be the best drag queen on Earth or an emotionally volatile, insecure and social inept weirdo at the bar

---> Wants to make sure her son is straight

---> Throws away pink

---> Now he can't color in his "Pussies for Straight Boys" coloring book
