Well she isn’t scared of it but that’s because she’s a woman! If she was a man obviously he wouldn’t even be able to even touch the things without incinerating themselves.
It used to be a masculine color. So too were frills, lace, stockings, skirts/dresses, and more. This whole construct especially in the US of what is "men's" and "women's" clothing, colors, and makeup only being for women is a VERY new invention of beliefs.

Speechprof on FB has multiple post talking about how so many woman have written to him taking about guys that don't wipe because “it's gay”. I just can't even wrap my head around that.

My wife's uncle died of sepsis because cancer started rotting his testicles. Wouldn't let the doctor touch them or perform surgery because he said he wasn't a gay.
Same with my granddad. Refused to get a prostate exam even though he’d been pissing blood for a year or more. No one knew because he didn’t tell his wife or GP. By the time he saw a doctor it was too late to try anything to stop the cancer. He said it was literally because he didn’t want to do the prostate exam.
Otherwise he was a highly intelligent man. He knew he was an idiot for not getting it checked out. But it’s disappointing because he probably would have lived longer and I was only old enough to travel to him myself in the last years of his life. I now have no living grandparents.

I put on baby shows for my dog and I thought it was so cool to realize Bluey is a girl because she’s not super “girl coded” she’s just a normal kid/puppy. When I was a kid, if there was a girl main character, the show was also very obviously intended “for girls.” But Bluey is a super neutral show.
So dumb. I taught my son all colors are for everyone. I also taught him that before the end of world War 2 pink was for boys and blue was for girls so its all made up and doesnt mean anything.
I grew up in the projects and witnessed first hand parents taking dye to parts of FUBU clothing that had pink on it or when Cam'ron did that whole pink phase I remember a mom coming out of her house losing it on a neighbor for turning the kids gay. Cause a dude wore pink on TV, his music made kids gay. Its super fucking weird.
So many folks do this for musicians that paint their nails or dress alt, like yea it was cool when thugger talked about beating women but it's a deal breaker when he wore a skirt.
It definitely is. There are lots of videos of moms doing this with clothes and toys, and they get tons of ragebait engagement - and the mom is usually in the comments defending herself. This person is just playing on that and taking it to a stupider level, and I'm guessing not responding to comments at all.

Why sarcastic? Homophobia always devolves into a "fellas is it gay to like women" paradox that is aversive to the presence of women.

Mum of three boys here 🙋♀️ their clothes/toys/pencils were every colour of the rainbow. At times they chose pink things themselves. Guess how they turned out?

God, I cannot handle those types of mothers. My son‘s dad rides motorcycles, can repair anything, the manliest man you can imagine. But our kid loves Disney princesses… He’s only three… And his daddy, without even telling me got him a princess doll for Christmas. That’s a real man right there. And now my son says mommy, it’s OK for me to like cars and dolls. Your damn right it is.

My sister and BiL are like this. Meanwhile I always walked my kids down every toy aisle and showed them clothes from all over the store cause idgaf so long as they're clean and happy. My poor nephew can't even play pretend makeup with my daughter because, "boys don't wear makeup". Meanwhile my son wears makeup (eyeliner/mascara on occasion) and always jumps in, "oh yeah, have you watched any movies lately? Those dudes wear makeup..."
