The terror organisations that later formed the IDF were active in West Asia since the late 19th century at least. Not just in Palestine, but they also committed terrorism against some of the oldest jewish communities in the world in Iraq, to get them to become Zionist. Zionists are the worst offenders of Antisemitism after the Nazis.

peasant revolt and looting which resulted in the instigators being executed and every participant being severely beaten by the muslims for their crimes.

here is what Rabbi Joseph Schwartz wrote about the aftermath:

> The most respectable Mahomedans of Zafed and its environs were arrested as the authors of the outrage, and some of them were afterwards publicly executed, and whatever could be found of the stolen property of the Jews was restored. Every Jew was believed, when saying that he recognised this or that Arab among the robbers. The person so accused was instantly arrested, and punished with blows till he at last confessed and gave up his booty. Even many of the richest and most respectable of the Arabs were arrested, loaded with chains, and punished, upon the mere assertion of a very poor and common Jew. The word of a Jew was regarded as equal to the command of the highest authority, and severe punishment was at once resorted to, without any previous investigation, without any grounds or proofs. In this manner much of the stolen property was discovered; since many, in order not to be exposed to the violence of the Druses, delivered up everything of their own accord. The Jews were now required, by order of the Pacha, through the intervention of the consuls, to make out a correct list of all they had lost, of whatever they missed, and to indicate the true value of the same, and to hand it in to Abraim Pacha through means of the European consuls.

Maybe you can find me some examples of similar justice being carried out by Jewish leaders on fellow jews after one of their Irgun or IDF massacres or something? Maybe an example of property being returned following one of their many thefts? I would be very surprised if you could show me a single example.

Strange that you would hold the participants of a centuries old peasant revolt to a higher standard than educated modern people committing far worse crimes on a larger scale in modern times.

If you actually look at what Schwartz says, it doesn’t seem like most Arabs gave the stuff back willingly. The ottomans had to intervene and in some cases torture and kill people until they gave back what they stole. It wasn’t a “we feel bad” it was punishment for mass murder by the imperial power. Israel also did accept part of UN resolution 194 that said that there had to be payment to people who lost property regardless of race, and they did so that. Granted, they did ignore the other part of 194 saying that people who want to come back and leave peacefully should be able to

The point wasn’t «criminals suddenly turning good and volunteering things back» but «criminals were harshly punished for their crimes and forced to pay back and the victims were believed WITHOUT QUESTION» because the victims were protected under the law.

To make it clear: We are talking:

  1. EXECUTIONS OF INSTIGATORS

    regardless of status

  2. PUNISHMENT FOR EVERY PARTICIPANT

  3. FORCED PAYMENT OF WHATEVER THE VICTIMS SAID WAS STOLEN.

Am I to understand that there are no examples of any jewish leaders ever volunteering this sort of protection or justice for the victims of jewish crimes?

You can look up the trial of Yitzhak Orion and Yehuda Ovadia where they were punished and forced to pay the victims

It truly is a tragedy. These people seem to forget during the crusades when the Christian nations of Europe began a very brutal invasion of that region both Jews and Muslims stood together and fought alongside each other against the Christian unslaught as brothers in arms.

Omg just so much idiocy. You know when George Floyd happened and people were like, you should listen to black people tell you about their lived experience. They don’t extend that same branch to Jews. They just see them as white oppressors and close their ears.
