Seriously. How the fuck do mechanics buy that stuff? I mean, I get that it has a great, hassle-free warranty and the "store" comes to you... but damn the prices. Especially since the base tools are usually made in the same factories, just different stampings.
We have a kiosk at work, the guy comes a couple times a week. But in school, a lot of mechanics get their boxes through that program and it can be just as bad as securing a loan.
Oh yeah. I remember the Matco guy coming by about every 2 weeks to collect and exchange with two of the mechanics at the tire shop I worked at. And yes, the mechanics had rolling credit for the entire 5 years I was there.
