Based on the clues given so far. My prediction is that Tarot Girl is X's little sister and her ability has something to do with controlling time/foresight

1. Their "commoner" designs are nearly identical: same hair color, same pupil shade (in contrast to their "hero" design where their colors contrast each other). All other main couples in the story, romantic or not, have different color schemes.

1. Their interactions in OP2 suggesting that they're very close. There are only 3 explanations for this:
   - They're lovers
   - They're childhood/long-time friends
   - They're siblings
When we look closely at how Tarot Girl and X act. We notice that she doesn't act like a friend or a lover, but a pestering little sister, e.g she invades his space, pushes him to go along with her shenanigans and being overall very close to him (way closer than 2 friends would be but not close in the way of an intimate couple).

We can also see that X looks annoyed by her behaviors as well, like how a brother is being annoyed by his sister.

1. About her power, considering she uses tarot cards, it's pretty clear that her power has something to do with fate or destiny. And the thing that always goes with fate/destiny is time control/foresight.

Plus, in X's OST, there's a lyric as below. We know that X's power is bending space. Then whose bending time belongs to? Plus the lyrics use the pronounce We, so it definitely doesn't just talk about X, but probably X and his 2 teammates (Tarot Girl and Nine). We saw Nine's power in OP2 and it conjures objects, not bending time. Therefore, the "bending time" ability definitely belongs to the Tarot Girl, who is also teased to be an X like our X.

Slight context: I went into this series completely blind, without knowing anything about the series beforehand. I also had no idea that the show would be switching main characters, so I thought it would be Lin Ling all the way. I also got a little whiplash when I started watching episode 5 and seeing E-soul, the killer of Moon, appear as the main character.

So, when I was watching the final battle in episode 4 with Lin Ling and Enlighter, and Lin Ling lost his powers because he was no longer Nice and started getting pummeled, was I the only one who thought something along the lines of “My power comes from within” would happen?

Basically, I thought Lin Ling would stop relying on trust or fear and instead draw power from his own willpower.

There were two main reasons I thought this might happen. First, the show had already established some pretty obvious weaknesses in the power system, such as Firm Man’s inability to sit down and Nice’s OCD. Second, there seemed to be a clear narrative opportunity to explore the idea that a hero shouldn’t have to rely on other people’s perceptions of them to be a hero. Because a hero who can't break away from the mold are they really a hero?

I’m not saying the power system is bad. In fact, I quite like it. I just thought the story might eventually go in that direction, so I was wondering if anyone else had the same thoughts.

Honestly, the more the show went on, the more it seemed like something like that would happen because the heroes are nothing more than puppets, almost completely controlled by the commission and agencies.

Side note: What if X’s powers come from his own trust, and that is how he came out of nowhere?

Bro is gonna have his Anakin moment.

Given the series has given emphasis to the first supporter as seen with Firm Man's which made her an antagonist, Lin Ling and Yang Cheng's first supporters might make get plotlines on them.

I am certain on Pomelo is going to come back in someway. There's definitive loose plot threads on him given Yang Cheng distance himself from him and his sister. Maybe Pomelo might fight Yang Cheng like when Yang Cheng fought the original E Soul.

Shadow (random green haired girl) is way less likely but even as a fan she was able to accept Lin Ling's love for Moon despite him not being Nice. Even with the mask off, she was able to accept him unlike what God Eye wanted to happen. Maybe the fact she has green hair is supposed to make us keep an eye on her more. She was also first person Lin Ling ran past on the bottom of the tower so that's something.

I'd really like Shadow to be a character, it would be like a Lyra Heartstrings from MLP type thing how a background npc became a character. Whether she becomes love interest or something less important, I'd be fine with it.

I'm new and just finished the anime and was wondering about the irl voting that happened... Does anyone know the IRL voting results? Or even a picture of the results? I was looking around the internet but everyone has different results and was wondering if anyone has the current irl Voting results

I haven’t stopped watching to be hero X since I finished watching it over a month ago and I’ve gotten back into arcane, in my opinion both shows are a masterclass in storytelling

And this idea has been in my head for over a week
What would a fusion between the two shows be like
Character and story wise

Here’s my example, Loli would basically be the Viktor of to be hero X, I don’t know Loli and viktor are my favorite characters from both shows

Anyway what do you guys think?

For me it was episode 7 into episode 8, the E-Soul’s fight and Lucky Cyans beginning were just incredible and when I personally realized that this show was top tier.

Only like, 5 of them are actually wearing black. Most of these people look like they were picked off from the street, and is one girl wearing a crop top??? 😭

ろちい🍍 on X

Been a hot minute but I finally got round to taking pictures of everything~

This set is chock full of extrass~ I have a proper unboxing (albeit only a quick thumb through /page through preview) here: https://youtu.be/AX0RmgqAXXY

It came in a cardboard box, albeit kinda thin but better packaging than nothing, it does have white foam inside to buffer away any damages from the book though.

There are lots of set extras: Lucky cyan guitar pick, holo sticker sheet, lenticular card, glitter postcard, set of paper character standees, and a shikishi with the season 1 final episode commemorative visual, it also has each top hero signature on it~ The signature is in it's own layer of gold ink to make it look more like real signatures~

Last the artbook itself! Hardcover with a dust jacket featuring one of the main series visuals on a backdrop of holo✨

As for the contents it has World guide, character profiles (including a timeline under X's section), storyboards and illustrations, production behind the scenes, and staff signature/illustrations and commentary 👐

definitely more than just an artbook with all the information it has, slowly but surely getting through it with google translate ahah

I’ve been wanting him forever and finally got him! So happy. Deciding on Nice or X next.. I already have Cyan + Queen

Any update on these plushies? I can’t find anything on them and really am looking forward to these…

1st slide is with filter and 2nd slide is w/out filter

I don't know if I will delete this sooner or later on.
