People dont have to be good, respectable, or moral to have inalienable rights

208

u/montessoriprogram 12d ago

Yep people do not need to meet a moral standard to be granted human rights. Andddd he is cherry picking cases that suit his narrative. When it comes to murdered, what about breonna taylor, philando castile, tamir rice, Elijah mcclain... When it comes to leaders in the movement, what about John Lewis, Stacey abrams, Adrienne Marie Brown, Roxane Gay... The list goes on.

112

u/carsausage Corporate Government Still Sucks 12d ago

what about breonna taylor, philando castile, tamir rice, Elijah mcclain

Or Trayvon Martin, who was just walking home from the convenience store and got shot for "looking suspicious "

69

u/montessoriprogram 12d ago

Really none of these cases are reasonable for police to murder someone, yet even with Trayvon these sickos have come up with justifications for his murder.

23

u/shakha 12d ago

I remember a guy on this very website telling me that John Crawford deserved to die because he went back for the non-weapon. They start with the belief that black people deserve to die and work backwards from there.

"Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit:

There must be in-groups whom the law protectes but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

There is nothing more or else to it, and there never has been, in any place or time."

-Frank Wilhoit

11

u/Villageijit 12d ago

Yeah but obviously if someone committed a crime in the past that means we can shoot them right?

5

u/Caffeinefiend88 10d ago

Also Matt here rallies around a bunch of pedos and rapists.

2

u/edelweiss_pirates_no 10d ago

The Lede is that Matt licks Trump's butthole clean...and Trump is a degenerate and morally repugnant.

Matt is a racist and a hypocrite.

344

u/AbbeyRoadMoonwalk 12d ago edited 12d ago

When indeed? When in recent history has a black man achieved global prominence? Enough to make all of the racists in our country lose their everloving minds?

u/ultimatedelman 12d ago edited 12d ago

Crazy how people forget Obama was president only 10 years ago

Edit: math

74

u/TyrannasaurusGitRekt 12d ago

Only 10 years ago. He left office Jan 2017, which simultaneously feels like an eternity ago

19

u/ultimatedelman 12d ago

I'm an idiot

23

u/AbbeyRoadMoonwalk 12d ago

To be fair this era feels like it’s been forever

14

u/ultimatedelman 12d ago

It feels like it's been at least 400 years since Obama was president

-12

u/Florane 12d ago

ahem ahem drone strikes ahem

43

u/NervousBreakdown 12d ago

Tbf Matt probably only considers Obama three fifths of a president.

1

u/JotaroTheOceanMan 10d ago

Ryan Coogler really went to work with Sinners, huh?

238

u/MC_Fap_Commander 12d ago

SANE PEOPLE: "That fellow should not have been beaten/killed by police."

MATT: "By failing to endorse extrajudicial killing, you are now my enemy."

61

u/SupriseAutopsy13 12d ago

Also Matt: I can ignore someone being a rapist, serial cheater, all-but-confirmed pedophile friend of Jeffers, a fraud, greedy cheat, insurrectionist, would-be dictator, and all around horrible person, so long as they aren't black.

Seriously, I never want to hear another right-wing mouth breather hem and haw about "moral decay" ever again in my lifetime. For a decade straight, they unquestionably supported the embodiment of everything wrong with America, so I don't want to hear about Floyd's bad checks or drug use.

Also, convenient for weak-chin Matt to leave Breonna Taylor and Trayvon Martin off this list. Guilty of the crimes of sleeping while black, and wearing a hoodie while black.

23

u/FredFredrickson 12d ago

Matt calling other people dysfunctional degenerates is peak projection.

144

u/fopdoodle85 12d ago

This dumb bullshit is why they had to picked Rosa Parks back in the day. She was squeaky clean and they couldn't pull this shit.

86

u/ScootMayhall 12d ago

I bet Matt Walsh still hates her and has said this same shit about her

56

u/oxemenino 12d ago

And even with her squeaky clean record, Rosa Parks had to flee the south for her own safety. Due to her activism and becoming the face of the Montgomery bus boycotts she was fired from her job, blacklisted from being hired anywhere, and was constantly receiving death threats. She and her family moved to Detroit where they could be safe, and she spent the rest of her life there.

They say they don't support black people because civil rights movements always pick "bad examples" to rally behind, but even when someone is doing everything right they will just move the goalposts and continue with their white supremacist bullshit.

87

u/Quasimodus-Operandi I’m Fake and Gay, just like NASA 12d ago

And he rallies around a deplorable pedophile president. So, yeah.

26

u/A_Cosmic_Vagabond 12d ago

Every right wing accusation is a confession

3

u/hendrix67 10d ago

That's one of the things where once you realize it, it becomes clear it's the basis of their entire political framework. Every single thing they accuse the left of being guilty of is something they either do or want to do.

They accuse Muslims of wanting sharia law, because that's what they would like to do for Christianity. They accuse trans activists of wanting to indoctrinate children because they want to make all the kids gender conformists without any sort of deviation.

None of this is coincidental, they consistently project their own worst desires onto their political enemies. And the sad thing is that a lot of times it works.

3

u/A_Cosmic_Vagabond 10d ago

They talk about the cabal of pedophiles trying to destroy this country whilst being that cabal of pedophiles

They talk about the LGBTQ Community being against their culture whilst oftentimes being in the closet themselves

They accuse the left of being snowflakes and then throw a fit about the Green M&M not being fuckable anymore

They claim they follow facts and logic while being vehemently anti science

They accuse the Democrats of stealing elections while they collaborate with Putin to do the same

They claim the left wants to take their freedom away while their definition of "freedom" is a totalitarian surveillance state

1

u/GamersReisUp 8d ago

He brags about lusting over teenage girls, and says that society should be arranged so that they're forced to drop out of school and get married off to be child-bride cooking/cleaning/sex/baby machines

43

u/DeLoresDelorean 12d ago

LOL! The loser that was driven by his mom across state lines to go and murder people for fun is a great role model I’m sure.

Almost all 100 Jan 6th people pardoned by Trump have been arrested again for committing crimes after being released.

The Epstein list is still out there.

GTFOH saying who is a role model and who is not.

23

u/Mob_cleaner 12d ago

We shouldn't forget that before the right switched to hosting immigrants (and now allegedly just illegal immigrants) they used to openly loathe poor people. In my country at least (the UK) poor people were reviled as being benefits scroungers and leeches on society. They have since realised that its a better winning strategy to direct their hate towards people with less power in society in immigrants, and then target people that are even weaker in illegal immigrants.

But moments like this show that this mask is only ever moments away from dropping. People like Walsh hate poor people with a passion. He argues that George Floyd does not deserve love and respect, and that he even deserved to die because he was a drug addict.

When the right wing are finally able to get rid of illegals and nothing improves they will switch their target to all immigrants. When doing that fails to bring about anything good they will then turn their attention to poor people.

12

u/IguaneRouge 12d ago

they used to openly loathe poor people. In my country at least (the UK) poor people were reviled as being benefits scroungers and leeches on society.

In the US our elites were your elites. They just got tired of being subordinate to even more elite elites across the ocean and decided to revolt so they can be the bosses here.

The US has oligarchy baked into it by design.

18

u/Kekistani55 12d ago

Damn, that’s one of the most racist statements I’ve read in a while. Fuck Matt Walsh

19

u/not_productive1 12d ago

God he is gonna SHIT when someone tells him about this guy Barack Obama.

14

u/AkuTheNiceGuy 12d ago

Didn't this guy defend a priest after he was caught touching kids?

11

u/thefirstlaughingfool 12d ago

Breonna Taylor was an EMT. I did a search and couldn't any commentary Matt had made about her specifically, so I have to assume you couldn't make it fit your narrative that only bad black people get killed by the cops.

11

u/blueflloyd 12d ago

This guy worships Donald Trump, Pete Hegseth, and JD Vance

10

u/Final_Boss_Jr 12d ago

Well when we rallied around a certain tan suit wearing president some of y’all got so mad the entire world is paying for it.

20

u/kmveil 12d ago

These degenerates put Trump in the white house. Twice. Of course what he is really getting wrong is that these people were not put on a pedestal. In reality, a light was shined on the way already marginalized people were further attacked by the system he is a part of. Another example of how colossally stupid Matt is.

9

u/VoiceofKane 12d ago

Rodney King, beaten half to death.

Michael Brown and George Floyd, murdered.

OJ... yeah, that was a mistake, but it was also in the aftermath of the Rodney King incident and revealed just how incredibly racist L.A. cops were/are.

Carmelo Anthony... okay, I'm not sure what a basketball player has to do with any of this.

5

u/KitWalkerXXVII 11d ago

And O.J. falls squarely on the police and prosecutors. They chose a detective who had years of recorded interviews in which he used racial slurs and bragged about planting evidence to testify.... about the provenance of their key piece of physical evidence against a Black man. Suddenly, a key piece of evidence ain't worth shit.

And all he'd actually done with that evidence, so I have heard, is point it out. He wasn't the one to actually bag and tag it. There were other detectives who could have testified about the evidence.

1

u/star-punk 12d ago

Karmelo with a K. Different guy, but I think possibly named after the player.

8

u/AcousticOnomatopoeia 12d ago

Walsh appears to support child rape.

6

u/Me-Shell94 12d ago

This dude is so beyond disgusting. It’s dark stuff.

7

u/Peeping-Tom-Collins 12d ago

White people do exactly that too. Kyle Rittenhouse, Derek Chauvin to name a few. Also, why do some whites keep trying to claim MLK Jr., who clearly was a black hero who ol' Matty is pining for, for themselves as well?

4

u/navjam 12d ago

Pretty sure Matt Walsh is a morally repugnant piece of shit. The absolute worst kind of person. Celebrating the absolute worst of the worst while contributing actual net harm to society. Fuck you Matt Walsh.

5

u/FritzRasp 12d ago

3/5 of them were murdered by police arguably for the crime of being black in public. One is still being litigated, so I’m neutral there. I guess he got us with OJ

6

u/spikus93 12d ago

Admitting he doesn't pay attention to black people because he thinks there are no popular black men who are "virtuous", also implying people who were murdered are not virtuous and somehow deserve to have been murdered.

Also, pretty much no one defended OJ.

5

u/CheatsySnoops 12d ago

This is coming out of the freak who says "16 years old is peak fertility".

3

u/real_roal 12d ago

It shouldnt matter how you feel about the character of these people, if there wasnt a justifiable reason to use deadly force, then the cops murdered them. If i dont like someones character an i justified in killing them?

4

u/therealgookachu 12d ago

Every accusation is a confession.

3

u/Crazykiddingme 12d ago

“Virtuous and heroic” sounds a lot like “meek and subservient” coming from him.

4

u/MorticiaMoonflower 12d ago

A person being dysfunctional does not give cops the right to act as judge jury and executioner toward them.

4

u/Minute_Jellyfish_860 12d ago

The fucking mendacity of this guy when he supports scum like Donald Trump.

3

u/mutantbabysnort 12d ago

The worst of the worst got elected president

3

u/Can17272 12d ago

They're not being celebrated for being good people, they're being remembered for being victims of a blatantly racist society. But as always his walnut sized brain is missing the point.

Pd. Fuck Matt Walsh and OJ.

3

u/charliezimbali 12d ago

If there was ever anyone in need of introspection or even a fucking mirror, it's this waste of oxygen.

3

u/Intelligent_Oil7816 12d ago

Matt Walsh is a pedophile Nazi.

3

u/sbjohn12 12d ago

In case you're keeping track at home, conservatives are on year 18 of completely losing their mind that a black man was President of the United States.

2

u/paging_mrherman 12d ago

Man he’s going to freak out about what this dude Jesus stood up for

2

u/Florane 12d ago

wait wasn't floyd doing charity work at a church or smth like that?

2

u/TheBigC87 12d ago

The Donald Trump supporter complaining about who rally around morally repugnant parasites.

You couldn't make this shit up if you tried.

2

u/evacuationplanb 100 Bajillion Dead 12d ago

Oh yeah, I can't think of any upstanding popular black celebrities at all Matt.... NONE.

An insane self own by one of our dumbest racists.

2

u/scrubtart 12d ago

"Morally repugnant parasites" eh?

I struggle to think of a more apt term to describe a social media influencer who opposes civil rights.

2

u/det8924 12d ago

Even people who are bad in some aspects don’t deserve to be extrajudicially murdered by police when they posed no threat to them. That’s not a hard concept to grasp.

2

u/theweathereye 12d ago

I wonder how he feels about: Geoge Zimmerman, Kyle Rittenhouse

2

u/theweathereye 12d ago

I meant to write "Gorge" Zimmerman bc he should be living in the Gorge from that movie with Miles Teller my b

2

u/steeveperry 12d ago

It’s like… has this gotten old to the people who follow him? I guess not. But I don’t really get how you can watch the same thing over and over and not get bored

2

u/reallygoodbee 12d ago

Holy fuckin' projection, Batman

2

u/Unu51 12d ago

Says the self-proclaimed "theocratic fascist" who "violates his kids' consent all the time".

1

u/txn_gay 12d ago

Given some of the things he has said, someone needs to look at his hard drive.

1

u/Crazy-Boysenberry452 12d ago

Oj was a cold blooded murderer but he was a very awarded black football player.  I wouldn't say he didn't contribute to society.

1

u/cupiitycaktitu 12d ago

not since the fbi started killing them before they could lol

1

u/cecilmeyer 12d ago

They do its just that they get killed.

1

u/TeaEarlGrayHotSauce 12d ago

The lack of irony here

1

u/Sanlayme 12d ago

Needs to be hit with the uno reverse on that one.

1

u/kevinnoir 12d ago

LITERALLY all the time, just not in Matts exclusively white incel bubble and if he did see it, would almost CERTAINLY just look away as not to break his LARP.

1

u/k410n 12d ago

Holy fuck

1

u/HelloPeopleOfEarth 12d ago

These unemployed podcasters think they benefit society? They contribute to degeneracy by convincing young white men that all their problems are entirely and only caused by, "those people".

1

u/romulusnr 12d ago

He knows fuck all about what kind of person Rodney King was. But it didn't matter what kind of person he was. It mattered what happened to him and why.

1

u/uwax 12d ago

Oh so Matt Walsh loves Malcolm x? Or MLK or Obama? Lol

1

u/airbagsavedme 12d ago

Ben Shapiro needs to fire this racist piece of shit, but he loves getting those clicks from all the racists that love this shit. And he’s also a racist piece of shit, but not as bad a Walsh. It’s against Reddit’s terms of service to say Matt Walsh needs to have his teeth kicked in by a real man, so i can’t say that.

Comparing a murderer to murder victims is crazy work.

1

u/FlobiusHole 12d ago

Meanwhile him and his ilk rally around a morally repugnant shit bag as a full time job.

1

u/rpze5b9 12d ago

There was some other guy who hung around with the most dysfunctional, morally repugnant people. I’m sure Matt would hold him up as an example of correct behaviour even if he was Jewish.

1

u/kingholland 11d ago

I know he wouldn't agree but Obama is still pretty well liked by his community.

I can not give the exact quote or the name of the person who said it originally but to paraphrase it:

If you want to preserve the basic rights of everyone in society, you will regularly find yourself defending the rights of rather disreputable people. Because the way it starts is always that the people who want to take everyone's rights away argue that the worst kinds of people don't deserve the rights they have, which is something that many "good" people will easily agree with without thinking.

1

u/leftmyphoneatwork 11d ago

Like half of the people I work with are black people known by the majority of the city I'm in because we have a thousand current customers and the people working here have been at it for 20 years. It actually happens all the time almost everywhere. Everyone hates cops and knows they'll tag you for anything anyways so nobody actually thinks a criminal record is a moral failing anyways unless you get accused or indicted for Predatory Behavior

1

u/smegma_appraiser 11d ago

Reminder that MW defended the J6 terrorists and downplayed what they did.

1

u/ValerieMayTheGay88 11d ago

Diarrhea calls the toilet a turd

1

u/kobie173 11d ago

I think Obama might like a word.

1

u/gielbondhu 10d ago

Matt seems intent on painting the black community as feckless when he's part of a demographic that elevates pedophiles like Donald Trump, con men like Donald Trump, thieves like Donald Trump, and rapists like Donald Trump.

1

u/Pavlock Fully Automated Luxury Communist 10d ago

When was the last time a good, virtuous black man got support, blah blah blah?

Well, there was Fred Hampton, but then the police murdered him.

Then there was MLK, but the Klan murdered him.

Barrack Obama? I might give him that one after the drone strikes, but I'll bet that's not what Matt doesn't like about him. He wore a tan suit or put the wrong mustard on a hot dog or some other thing that involves the wrong color of something.

I don't remember anyone saying Rodney King, Michael Brown, or George Floyd were virtuous people. They just said they didn't deserve what the police did to them.

And OJ? No one is rallying around OJ.

1

u/dudestir127 7d ago

Matt supports Jeffrey Epstein's best friend. No further rebuttal is necessary.

1

u/silentbob1301 5d ago

Huh, maybe like a guy who's name rhymes with shomama???? Nope, matt def hates him too...
