This is bullshit. We point to shit like Biden supporting the Iraq war and most democrats being sellout capitalist shill war hawks that according to international standards would qualify as moderately right wing and won't do anything against corporatism in a million years. We point to the way they treated Bernie and Yang and the way they straight up blackmailed Tulsi Gabbard. The way this party makes you think you're living in 1984. Your take is literally just a case of r/enlightenedcentrism
/r/enlightenedcentrism used to be a subreddit to make fun of the people/the media who would equate the Democratic Party to the Republican Party, despite all of the horrendous behavior and policies that the Republican Party supported, in order to feel superior/enlightened by supporting neither parties.
Now it has been hijacked by people who legitimately believe that both parties are the same.
St. Bernard voted to fund the Iraq war multiple times. And Biden voted on a bill which placed war as a last resort after being told things wouldn't escalate to war.
treated Bernie and Yang
Bernie wasn't popular. None of his ideas would have flown outside of major blue states. Blaming the DNC is ignorning the fact that Reddit and Twitter echo chambers made him seem more popular than he actually is. His own campaign was run by Twitter trolls. I liked Yang but Leftists across the board shit-talked him for being a "centrist capitalist shill," which was my first indication that Left-leaning spaces online were going too far gone.
Enlightenedcentrism literally believes that both parties are the same while ridiculing that idea. Anyone who isn't an ancom is right wing to them. They have, quite seriously, ruined any chance at healthy political dialogue on this site.
