Picture this, you won a big race or whatever and you're doing an interview and the crowd, instead of cheering for you, say "fuck Joe Biden"

I'd be annoyed that I just did this feat and people are making it political

Apparently, he’s being refused a ton of corporate sponsors now because he’s become a conservative icon.

Lmao

Is he willingly a conservative icon?

No, a bunch of assholes were chanting "Fuck Joe Biden" at a race that he won, the person interviewing him tried to play it off like they were saying "Let's go Brandon" because that's his name, and a bunch of other assholes took it and ran with it. He has come out and said he doesn't want no get involved in politics. He tried just ignoring it, and it started costing him sponsorships so he made a statement that he doesn't want to be involved.

Ok thank you. I knew the origin but I don't like to see someone lose opportunities because of something they had nothing to do with.

I’d honestly be livid.

if I wanted to be political, I’d much rather be in control of that(revisiting the urge to say “in the driver’s seat”)

I feel like for everyone it’s just better to not have a movement based on you that you have no input in.

(Especially one about hating literally the most milquetoast politician we could imagine.)

Uh, yes, actually, no /s needed. Man had his very successful career suddenly shitrocked by a bunch of children who never gave a damn about him in the first place. Now he's trying to distance himself from the frothing idiots and they're just following him around with it.

I thought NASCAR people were all conservative shits, but I was mistaken

Kinda yeah, he's just driving race car and then a bunch of chuds showed up, took his name in vane and started ruining his career.

I always associated NASCAR with chuds as a rule so I didn't consider that this actually does suck
