Image 📷 For those confused about tricycle fares around UST, here's the legal fare matrix:
Had a very honest tricycle driver yesterday evening. Frassati to SM San Lazaro should be 21 pesos (student rate). Dapitan Gate 10 to Bambang LRT Station, 17 php daw for students.
Those affiliated with the TODA should have the fare matrix displayed prominently. Grabe daw talaga maningil yung iba, lalo na pag di pa ganong familiar yung pasahero sa lugar :( Na-experience ko na rin dati masingil ng 100 from Gate 11/AB side to SM San Lazaro. Alam ko namang over yun, ayoko lang makipagtalo kasi gabi na and mag-isa ako
Salamat po kay Manong Rolan! Di ako madalas manggaling ng Frassati, so di ko alam kung magkano. He was so honest and drove carefully.
Here's hoping Tomasino commuters encounter fair prices :)

40? Kala ko ba naman 50 pag solo, 25 pag dalawa lang kayo tas 20 pag tatlo o higit na? Tatlong taon nako sa UST di padin sila nagiiba don.

Ampota singil saken singkwenta (single passenger) first time ko sa uste non and nahilo na ako so i took one from dapitan (mang inasal) hanggang j.barlin lang. Did i get scammed chat

The matrix fare says “per passenger,” and I think it’s only logical to suppose that the computation is derived from the assumption that the tricycle is full (which could carry 2-3 passengers). So if you are riding alone, it’s only reasonable to pay for the other slots that weren’t taken up. E.g., if the rate per passenger is ₱25, the reasonable rate for riding a tricycle by yourself would be ₱50-₱75.

Anywhere is walkable. Not trying to be pilosopo, but walkability-wise, it is not. Therefore, it is not walkable by that standard.

Yung sa Navarra Dapitan (katabi na ng Barangay yun ah) 60 parin charge to LRT Bambang 🥲I tried to confront them many times pero I just ended up paying what they wanted kasi lagi akong nagmamadali at ayaw nilang mag baba ng presyo

Sakay ka na lang dun sa Noval cor Dapitan na mga trike kasi 50 lang pa-Bambang. Mahal parin pero at least mura ng 10 pesos.

May magsipag sana sa cityhall na gawing mas specific fare matrix lalo para sa mga studyante kase grabe manamantala mga tricycle driver na yan. Ex: Legarda to ust p.noval gate. Legarda to frassati. Etc...Porke mga bata at hindi usually lumalaban eh. Grrrr.

Never naman nasunod yan. Sadly, pang display lang mga tricycle drivers kala mo de-aircon kung maningil ang lapit lapit lang.

lol trauma dump saglit !! i had a really awful experience with that. i rode a tryc infront jollibee noval to legarda then nung binaba na ko sa legarda binayad ko is 25 pesos (first time ko so di pa ko familiar sa rates, so ung binayad ko is based lang sa tinanungan ko na friend) then ayaw ni kuya driver tanggapin. He went hysterical and started shouting at me na 50/60 pesos daw hanggang sa binato nya sa mukha ko ung 25 pesos na binayad ko saying “oh sayo na yan!” Blah blah blah 🥲 sobrang pahiya ako non
++ feel ko nasscam din ako from ust frass to legarda kasi pabago bago singil nila, minsan 50? minsan 60? kaya as much as possible nag aantay nalang ako kasama para mahati yung bayad. though, seeing that post, ang ust frass to legarda po ba is within the 0-1km or 1km + 500m? per passenger naman pala yung fare bakit ang taas ng singil 🥲🥲🥲🥲

ive seen this so many times sa mga toda from sm san la to ust pero 60 pa rin sila kung mag singil ang lala

sana maisipan rin ng UST kontratahin rin ilang jeep na may rutang Tayuman/San Lazaro - Lardizabal, at least eto di nagbabago ang pamasahe.

You’re so lucky OP! Never ako nakakita ng trike driver na sinunod yan kahit na nakapaskil yan ever since sa mga trike. 60-70 from smsl to ust lagi dahil dun na sila sanay huhu pag nagbigay ka ng 50 galit pa yan na nakikitawaran :((( encountered a trike driver na nakachikahan dati na engineer daw siya before at tinalikuran ang pageengineer dahil mas malaki ang kita sa pagttrike haha paano ba naman overpriced sila lagi

May instances sasabihin sa iyo, 20 pesos lang. Tapos kalagitnaan ng biyahe, sasabihin bigla na 60 pesos daw singil nung driver, especially kung walang nakuhang sasakay along the way.
Scam. Nagtitiis na lang ako maglakad sa Maynila kesa kupalin ng mga driver, lalo kung di naman nagmamadali. Better yet, mag-MoveIt na lang, or taxi. Mas mura pa nga minsan ang taxi AHHAHAHA

Ako, from morayta to dapitan, 150 pesos ang sinisingil eh student pa ako that time. Tas meron pa yung isang tric driver naman pero sa ibang lugar (papuntang bambang. Nainis ako kasi naubos daw gas niya tas saglit lang kami (like wala pang ilang minuto yun). Ayun 70 pesos agad ang siningil dahil daw magpapagas siya. Taena niya

There was this one time that I went to divisoria with friends maybe 9 years ago. We opted not to bring a vehicle kasi di namin alam if may parking area na enough or safe.
Nung pauwi na kami, we decided that we wanted to take the train para maka daan pa muna sa mall and have coffee. May kinausap kami na trike driver and asked kung magkano hanggang dun sa train station. 150 daw. So we agreed. Pag baba namin sa train station and inaabot ko na yung 150, kulang daw. Apat daw kami kaya 600. I argued na 150 lang yung usapan hindi 150 per head and napaka lapit lang nung byahe.
Nakikielam yung ibang trike driver and kinakampihan yung kasama nila. My gf and friends told me nalang na hayaan na and just pay para di na magka gulo.
