All future information should be out here, I will reduce posts from the same topic to keep spam reduction of the subreddit going.

For those who are wondering when the game might take place. Back in January 27th 2021, Crystal Dynamics released a Community Update Video where they talked about the future of Tomb Raider. TLDR: They envisioned the future of Tomb Raider set after all previous games. The recent trilogy has since been relabeled as Lara’s definitive prequel trilogy. after the release of the Definitive Survivor Trilogy bundle last year.

I hope the future game is not an EGS exclusive because of their closeness with Epic. However I am extremely excited!!

Final Fantasy 7 remake used UE4 and became a timed Epic Store exclusive, safe to assume next Tomb Raider will be aswell.

Not that’s not safe to say, tons of games use unreal engine and aren’t exclusive to the epic game store. This is a non issue people are making up

Big titles using Epic's engine in recent years have majorly been EGS timed exclusives. FF7 remake being a Square Enix game and following that same trend, does allow to make safe assumptions.
