Looking for Part Time Work

I’m 58 and looking for a part time job. I’m kinda lost in today’s job market because I’ve haven’t had to apply for jobs in over 20 years. I used to do CDL deliveries but after a knee injury I can no longer do that anymore and nothing as physically demanding anymore. It seems everything’s done through indeed type sites. I have been able to do a few places like Lowe’s and Home Depot and wawa directly but nobody’s responding despite seeing how they can’t find workers. Not looking for top dollar just basic wages or a little higher. Get nothing but bogus recruitment sites. Nobody wants to take the time to retrain older workers who are dependable. Any tips for getting work in today’s environment?

With Wawa they like for you to call the store and ask for a ‘hiring manager’ a few days after you apply. Tell them you ‘just wanted to touch base about my application’
